An Imaginative Reality

Salutations! I will confess I have not written in this circle diary in . . . a scandalous amount of time and I do apologize. At this moment, I am in Saluda, N.C. again (oh heavenly thought!) and am going to tell you about what I see (or have seen)here. Every morning I awake to the sound of cardinals and a quizzical little squirrel who has somehow found that the rusty swing-set in my grandmother's backyard, as other purposes then just swinging. He uses the seats as "crackers" for the stash of walnuts he has been hoarding all winter. Oh my! Duty calls! I'll write to you about the day-lilies in a while.

Hey Hannah! Saluda sounds amazing. I can't wait to see it for myself.
